We are assisting a Super Management Company in the search for a Junior Risk Officer in Luxembourg.
As a Junior Risk Officer, you will have a strategic role within the risk department and assess the different risks related to UCITS and AIFs.
Responsibilities
- Performing Pre-trade checks and post-NAV compliance checks for both AIFs and UCITS.
- Ensure fund compliance with investment restrictions.
- Liaise with clients about Investment Compliance and Risk Management topics.
- Production of monthly Risk Reports, Regulatory reports, and ad-hoc reports.
- Assist the AIFM in identifying, monitoring, and managing the funds’ risk profiles. Advise management on risk management to ensure compliance with regulations and internal risk limits.
- Participating in the Risk Committee and the Valuation Committee.
- Liaise with relevant parties to monitor operational aspects of the development/continuation of the projects.
- Support the risk management team in onboarding new projects using risk software.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in finance or economics.
- Up to 2 years of experience in the consulting/banking/ financial sector, preferably in Risk Management.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. French is considered an asset.
