Edward Mount is partnering with a well known Wealth Manager, located in the city center of Luxembourg, in the search for a Chief Risk Officer.
We are looking to hire a hands on professional that will oversee the risk management in accordance with all local regulatory requirements and in line with corporate policies.
Our customer belongs to an international network, that holds consolidated activities in several EU countries: you have the chance of joining an independentwealth management group with outstanding solvency, and have primary responsibility to maintain the overall risk management framework.
Responsibilities
Ensure responsibility for identifying, managing, monitoring and controlling risks and implementing risk control measures accordingly across the overall risk
Produce the regulatory reports: ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar III, Summary Report for the risk function and Recovery Plan
Act as the point of contact for the CSSF and be responsible for the preparation of all required risk related reports.
Provide expert advice and feedback to the business line management framework
Supervise the production of risk reports (internal & regulatory)
Ensure that internal and regulatory reporting is performed according to the internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Review, monitor and report to the Authorised Management and Head of Group Risk Management
Make recommendations on the adequacy and effectiveness of and any deficiencies in the overall risk framework of the Bank
Review the policies and procedures affecting the department
Responsible for ESG matters
Liaise with external auditors for risk management issues
Perform ad-hoc risk analysis
Act as Control function of the ICT and security risks
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the risk management area of a bank or wealth manager
The ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines
You are proactive, rigorous, open-minded, and a fast learner by nature
